How many company websites tell search and AI engines who they are?
61% of company home pages carry no Organization structured data, the markup that tells search engines and AI assistants which company a site belongs to; 47% carry no structured data at all.
Who is counted
Company home pages that Qravitas loaded and read successfully. Each company counts once, from its most recent reading in the readings from the last 180 days.
How it was measured
Every JSON-LD block and microdata item on the rendered home page was parsed, and the page counted as identified when it declared a schema.org Organization (or a subtype, such as Corporation).
Why it matters
Search engines and AI answer engines reconcile a company across the web partly from this markup: its name, logo, official profiles and identifiers. Without it, they infer, and an inference can attach the wrong facts to the brand.

What this does not show
- Only the home page is checked; some companies declare their organisation on an About page.
- Presence is measured, not correctness: a block can exist and still carry wrong details.
- No company is named here. Figures are recomputed as companies are re-read, so they move a little from month to month; the date above is the date this figure was true.
